On the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday announced Rs 10 lakh aid for the kin of journalists who succumbed to Covid-19. According to the Chief Minister's Office, on the instruction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Information Department of the state government had gathered the details of the deceased journalists, and the financial assistance was released to their families on Sunday. The Chief Minister is touring the state to take stock of the situation and has visited more than 40 districts in 18 divisions. To ensure the availability of medical Oxygen, more than 300 Oxygen plants are being installed in the state. The state government has already announced that post-Covid-19 treatment is free in all the government hospitals in the state.
