In a shocking incident of lynching in Jhalawar in Rajasthan, Sagar Qureshi and his friends dragged out Krishna Valmiki, 25, from his car and lynched him in the middle of the road in broad daylight.
VHP demanded strict action against the culprits.
The attackers also sought a video of the attack.
The video of the lynching has gone viral. The attackers could be seen inciting each other to lynch Krishna and cheering the attack.
Police have arrested Sagar Qureshi and are looking for Raes, Imran, Akhtar Ali, Ishu Qureshi, and others.
The incident happened on Thursday (July). Krishna was left to die in the middle of the road.
Krishna was rushed to Jhalawar city hospital but was referred to Jaipur, where he succumbed to his injuries on July 6.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad demanded a monetary compensation of one crore rupees for the family of Krishna and strict action against the culprits.
But, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra remained tight-lipped.
