Former Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir and PDP head Mehbooba Mufti knew Hizbul Mujahideen Terrorist Naveed Babu and had talked to him on phone, the NIA has submitted in the court. Terrorist Naveed Babu was arrested with the J & K police official Davinder Singh last year. Singh was carrying two terrorists in his car. PDP’s youth wing head Waheed Ur Rehman Para has also been arrested by the NIA for financing Hizbul Mujahideen. The NIA got to know about Mufti’s link while investigating the case of Davinder Singh and Para. After the arrest of Singh, it had come to light that he had been helping terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir for a long time. He used to charge a hefty sum for his help.
