Massive collection of explosives seized from Kozhikode railway station; woman suspect arrested

In a shocking incident, a massive collection of explosives are seized by the police in Kozhikode railway station, Kerala on Friday morning. The explosives including 117 gelatin sticks, 350 detonators were found in Kozhikode from Chennai-Mangaluru Superfast Express. A female suspect has been arrested in connection with this. Railway Police Force is probing the matter. The police are probing whether the explosives were being taken for works in quarries or for terror operations. The police are also questioning locals to trace the origin of the explosives. Radical Islamist organisations have been expanding their presence in Kerala. Incidents like this raise suspicion where these explosives were smuggled to use for terror attacks.
