In a surprise interaction with Class 12 students and their parents, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asked them to utilise their time in a productive and creative manner after the cancellation of 12th Exam and said they should never take stress about any examination.

“I joined you suddenly, Hope I have not disturbed you, you were having fun, it looked like your joy was boundless because the exam was cancelled,” the Prime Minister told the students.

During the meeting, PM Modi said, “Students of Class 12 always keep thinking of the future. Till June 1, you all must have been preparing for the exams,” to which a student replies, “Sir, you have said that exams should be celebrated as a festival. So, there was no fear in my mind for examinations.”
PM Modi urged the parents and the students to speak on any issue other than the Board exams and there was a need to set aside the anxieties and look forward.
PM Modi also asked the students to write an essay on the upcoming 75th Independence Day. He also sought to know whether the students would spend time watching IPL, Olympics or Champion’s League matches now that the exams were canceled.
