Kerala state library council, controlled by CPM, will organise seven-month-long programs to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the anti-Hindu riots.
In a desperate attempt to appease Muslims and win seats in the Malabar region, Kerala Govt-sponsored ‘centenary celebrations’ of Moplah riots will occur in the state. Moplah riots refer to the anti-Hindu riots carried out by Muslims of the Malabar region in Kerala in 1921. Hindus were butchered, raped, and attacked during these riots. Kerala state library council, controlled by CPM, will organise seven-month-long programs to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the anti-Hindu riots.
Kerala University will organise a three-day national webinar on the topic.
Kerala assembly speaker M B Rajesh will inaugurate the seven-month-long programs of the Kerala state library council on Friday at Thiroorangadi. Historians, who will whitewash the 1921 Moplah riots as an independence movement, will only be invited to the program.
