Indica Yoga, an initiative of the Indic Academy, works for popularising Yoga through different mediums.

Indica Yoga has announced ten scholarships worth 199 Euros each for Europe based Yoga Teachers interested in learning Vedic Chanting. The successful participants will learn Vedic chanting from Shantala Sriramaiah, founder vedastudies.com.

Shantala Sriramaiah, born and raised in Bengaluru, teaches Veda recitation globally through her online classes. She has developed a unique system to accurately and completely transmit the nuances of Vedic phonetics for error-free learning for students.

Indica Yoga is also partnering with Veda Studies for a Teacher Training course in Vedic Chanting, expected to be launched in 2022.

Indica Yoga had organised the second edition of the Global Festival of Yoga 2021 on the International Day of Yoga on 21st June. It was nearly a month-long event focused on “yoga as a tool for Healing, Well-Being and Wisdom”.
