PM Narendra Modi performs Bhumi Pujan of Asia's Largest Jewar Airport

The wait of 25 years ended today when  PM Narendra Modi, along with CM Yogi Adityanath, laid the foundation stone of the Noida International Airport.

- Noida International Airport will be the world's fourth-largest airport         

- Now 3 Airports In Delhi  NCR Within A Range Of 70 Km 

 - The Total Cost Of Building The Noida International Airport Will Be Rs 29,650 crores      

- First Flight From Noida International Airport Will Start In September 2024

- When the Noida International airport will be ready, Uttar Pradesh will be the only state in India with five international airports: Jewar, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kushinagar, and Ayodhya, which will open next year.

- The Noida International Airport will have a capacity of 12 million passengers per year in the first phase, which is expected to be finished by 2024.

Asia's largest airport

Noida International airport will be Asia's largest airport, with seven runways and can hold 178 aircraft at a time. The Swiss company, Zurich International Airport AG, will be developing this airport on the public-private partnership model.


Phase I will start with one runway

The first phase of Jewar Airport will take shape in 1334 hectares. The first phase will start with one runway. For this, the district administration has acquired land of six villages. It includes Ranhera, Rohi, Parohi, Dayanatpur, Kishorepur and Banwariwas. This land acquisition has been made under the new law. Farmers have been given all the benefits under the new land acquisition law.

Displaced families were resettled in Bangar

The displaced families of the Jewar Airport project have been settled in Jewar Bangar. Three thousand three families have been affected in the first phase of this project. All these families have been given plots in Jewar Bangar. Jewar Bangar has all the facilities like the city. Yamuna Authority has developed this township on the instructions of the government.
