Anti-Pakistan rally takes place in Kabul, protestors ask Pakistan to leave Afghanistan

A demonstration took place near the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, with approximately 70 protesters holding banners and protesting against the Pakistani involvement in the affairs of Afghanistan.

The protesters were chanting the 'Pakistan, Pakistan, leave Afghanistan' slogan.

The protest comes a day after the Taliban confirmed Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director-General Lieutenant-General Faiz Hameed met the group's co-founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar. Lt Gen Hameed is the only high-ranking foreign official to visit Kabul since the Taliban captured the Afghan capital in mid-August.

Reports suggested that the Taliban opened fire in the air when protestors were marching towards Arg and Kabul Serena Hotel,  where the ISI director is staying.
