BJP Worker’s 70-Year Old Mother Brutally Assaulted by Mamata’s Partymen

Police have registered a case against three Trinamool Congress’ workers for brutally assaulting 70-year old mother of a Bharatiya Janata Party worker in North Dumdum in West Bengal.   The old lady told the police three people entered my house forcibly and kicked and punched her on the face and neck. The photo of her swollen face had gone viral on social media platforms.   Her son, Gopal Majumdar, is a Bharatiya Janata Party worker. The Election Commission of India had announced the poll schedule for the West Bengal assembly election. The voting in the state will happen in eight phases, starting March 27 and the counting of the votes will start on May 2.   The TMC workers also allegedly attacked the BJP vehicles meant for campaigning. The vehicles were fitted with large LCD screens to carry the party’s message to the masses. The BJP filed a complaint to the election commission officials.
