MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar filed a police complaint. Rahul Gandhi, Asaduddin Owaisi, and Swara Bhaskar spread the fake news to communalize a personal fight.

The Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Loni in Ghaziabad, where the thrashing incident happened, Nand Kishor Gurjar filed a police complaint demanding the National Security Act (NSA) against the scion of Nehru family Rahul Gandhi, AIMIM president, and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, and actor Swara Bhaskar for spreading fake news with an intention to cause communal tension.

Rahul Gandhi, in the evening of June 15, wrote on Twitter, “मैं ये मानने को तैयार नहीं हूँ कि श्रीराम के सच्चे भक्त ऐसा कर सकते हैं। ऐसी क्रूरता मानवता से कोसों दूर है और समाज व धर्म दोनों के लिए शर्मनाक है।”

(I won’t believe any Ram Bhakt can do it. Such cruelty is miles apart from humanity and is a shame for society and religion.)

Late at night on June 14, the Ghaziabad police had clarified that it was a personal fight and the claim about chanting of Jai Shri Ram was fake.

Actor Swara Bhaskar wrote on the night of June 15 that she had watched the video where the accused could be seen heckling Abdul Samad Saifi for chanting Jai Shri Ram.

Surprisingly, no such video exists.

She had tweeted, “RW & Sanghis vomiting on my timeline ‘coz Ghaziabad police named 3 Muslims. Jackasses the prime accused is literally a Pravesh Gujjar. The man is on camera forcing the old man to chant #JaiShriRam

Yes, it is a desecration of my God and my religion and I’m ashamed.. as shud you be.”

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi had declared the thrashing of Saifi a hate crime when it was well established that Parvesh, Arif, Aadil, Mushahid, and others had thrashed Saifi in a personal fight.
