‘Assalamu Alaikum' is a greeting method in the Arabic language. We often heard Muslims greet each other by saying ‘Assalamu Alaikum', but it doesn’t mean God bless you.
‘Assalamu Alaikum' or As-salamu Alaykum is a greeting in Arabic that means "Peace be upon you", a religious salutation among Muslims while greeting. The word ‘Assalamu Alaikum' came to India from Arab, and Indian Muslims adopted the same greeting process.
According to Muslim scholars, this is being done according to the hadith. However, one can lodge an objection or against this translation.
People are also saying on social media that if Google is showing its translation in the Arabic language in this way, then we should send it a response to Google with 'Mahadev Raksha' or 'God bless you' in Hindi.
Netizens have demanded the central government to take quick action on this and urged Prime Minister Modi to built Indeginious search engine under the Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
