Following Bloomsbury India's decision to capitulate to the Jihadi-Naxal threat
and dump the book 'Delhi Riots 2020 - Untold Story', Garuda Prakashan had taken up the task to republish the book under its wings. The book was made available for pre-order on Garuda Prakashan's website on 23rd August and since then the publisher has received a whopping orders for 15,000 plus books.
Authored by Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar and Prerna Malhotra, ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’ recounts the conspiracy behind the February 2020 Delhi riots, the collaborators, actors and the way it was executed. The book which is the outcome of meticulous research based on testimonies, eye-witness accounts and on the spot inspection by the GIA (Group of Intellectuals and Academicians) team.
On 22nd August, Bloomsbury India declared that it is pulling out of publishing the book due to pressure from the Left and Islamist cabal. A day later, the authors of the book Monika Arora, Sonali Chitalkar, Prerna Malhotra have shot-off a letter to the publisher
questioning their intent behind dumping the book, breach of contract, unethical and unprofessional conduct. On the same day, Garuda Prakashan has declared that it will be publishing the book dumped by Bloomsbury India. "It's official now: @GarudaPrakashan is going to bring the book of @advmonikaarora ji, #DelhiRiotsUntoldStory in English and Hindi both. Pre-buy links will be shared with you soon. Keep following us! Tamil version to the published by FootPrints Publication
Chennai-based FootPrints Publication has now come forward to publish the book in Tamil. BJP’s spokesperson for Tamilnadu SG Suryah had extended an offer to publish the book in Tamil under FootPrints Publication. Sankrant Sanu, the Director of Garuda Prakashan, accepted this invitation in a tweet, saying that other regional language publications were welcome to publish this book in other Indic languages. He went on to say that there should be a network for Indic book translation and distribution in all Indian languages.

I request @GarudaPrakashan @advmonikaarora & @sankrant to consider this offer & grant us the Tamil translation rights! #DelhiRiotsTheUntoldStory", tweeted Suryah. Sankrant Sanu in response to the offer said "Absolutely @SuryahSG. Other language publishers too. Let us have a network for Indic book translation and distribution in all #IndianLanguages."
With this unprecedented response to the book, publishers in other states are expected to come out with the book in various languages. Ayodhya Prakashan in Karnataka too had offered to publish the book when it was deplatformed by Bloomsbury India.
