Eminent personalities performing the bhoomipujan for third Rashtriya Sewa Sangam in Jaipur
Jaipur: The preparations for third Rashtriya Sewa Sangam to be held at Keshav Vidyapeeth, Jamdoli, from March 27 to 29, 2020, are in full swing. Bhoomipujan for the Sewa Sangam, to be organised by Rashtriya Sewa Bharati, was performed on February 21 in the presence of RSS Akhil Bharatiya Bauddhik Shikshan Pramukh Shri Swant Ranjan, national president of Rashtriya Sewa Bharati Shri Pannalal Bhansali, vice president Shri Rishipal Dadval, organising secretary Shri Sudhir Kumar and Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Ramesh Agrawal. After the flag pujan by Vedic Acharya Pandit Shrinandan Mishra, the flag was hoisted by the dignitaries present on the occasion. Sah Kshetra Pracharak Shri Nimbaram, Prant Pracharak Dr Shailendra ji, state president of Sewa Bharati Shri Kailash Sharma, organising secretary Shri Moolchand Soni, Kshetra Sewa Pramukh Shri Shivlahari, Prant Karyavah Shri Gendalal, and many other eminent personalities were also present.
The Rashtriya Sewa Sangam will showcase the sewa activities of more than 1200 sewa organisations in Jaipur. The Sewa Sangam is organised after every five years. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, industrialist Shri Mriduhari Dalmia and Shri Visad Mafatlal will also join the Sewa Sangam.
It is to be noted that many sewa activities are being carried out by Sewa Bharati and other organisations for the upliftment of the deprived people of the society. Sewa Bharati alone runs 93,000 projects for education, 13,000 for health, 15,000 for social and 8,000 for self-reliance. The beneficiaries of all these projects are tribals, slum dwellers, and the deprived people of the society. n
