Ahmedabad: “The Sangh swayamsevaks should share the information about the work that they do in the Sangh with their families also. It is necessary because mothers and sisters in the family have also to suffer because of the time that we devote to society. The objectives that we wish to achieve through the Sangh work cannot be achieved without the support of the matrishakti,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the Swayamsevak Parivar Milan on February 16. Paschim Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Jayantibhai Bhadesia and Gujarat Prant Sanghachalak Dr Bharatbhai Patel also shared the dais.
Shri Bhagwat further said we say that the Hindu society should be organised. When we refer to the word ‘society’ it includes the matrishakti also. We learn to live together because of the family. The Sarsanghachalak further said that women are half of the society. They should also be intellectually sound. We should start this work in our own homes. We are because of the family and the family is because of society. If we fail to take care of society, we will not be able to take care of the family and ourselves. We need to educate our young generation to contribute to society. Rather, instead of telling them we should show it in practice. Sangh should reflect in our individual, family, professional and social life, he added.

New Delhi: “It is the right time to understand Gandhi ji. The reading of ‘Hind Swaraj’ makes one feel that Gandhiji had a vision for Bharat after pushing the Britishers out. That is why he is remembered with respect and reverence even today,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while releasing a book, ‘Gandhi Ko Samajhne ka Yahi Samaya’ written by noted educationist Prof Jagmohan Singh Rajput on February 17. The book has been published by Kitabghar publications.
Shri Bhagwat further said it is the right time to understand Gandhiji because the problems that existed before freedom exit today also. “This is a fact that Bharat of the dreams of Gandhi ji is not there. But after moving around the country I can say that India of the dreams of Gandhi ji has started coming up,” he said. The Sarsanghachalak further said Mahatma Gandhi never bothered about popularity, success or failure. He stressed that the benefit of the last person of the society is a criterion of development.
Presiding over the function, noted Constitutional expert Shri Subhash Kashyap said Prof Rajput has compiled the essence of Gandhiji’s life. The book says that Gandhiji is still relevant. “The life of Gandhiji is a Mahakvya like Mahabharata in which one finds both the good and bad. If Gandhiji was today he would have felt happy over the cleanliness. But the question that he would have surely raised was when the cleanliness drive in politics would begin,” Shri Kashyap asked.
