Sending out a strong message to radical elements, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is working to bring a strict law to curb incidents of ‘love jihad’.

While addressing a gathering in support of BJP candidate from Malhani seat for assembly byelection on Saturday, Yogi said his government is planning to take a decision in view of the court's order. "We will work to strictly stop love jihad by formulating a stringent law", he said.
The Chief Minister also highlighted on the recently launched Operation Shakti for women security in the state and said that his government is committed to protect the honour of women at any cost.
