Despite the Ministry of Home issuing an advisory and ordering police to maintain law and order in all states post the amendments to Article 370, Rajasthan police once again failed in maintaining normalcy in Kota where around five to six Muslim men thrashed a local RSS worker leaving him seriously injured.

The only reason this boy was smashed was because he had celebrated the revocation of Article 370 in JK and had fired crackers with his friends on Monday and Tuesday in his home town Ramganj Mandi.

It needs to be furnished here that Rajasthan Police since last few months have been making news for its failure in checking crime rate in state and it was proved again this when a local RSS worker, Sandeep Gupta was hit hard by around five youths from a Muslim community . Sandeep got severe injuries in his stomach and head and was rushed to Jhalawar hospital by his friends, said his father Girdharilal. “We were informed by my son’s friends that some muslim men have beaten my son and he has been rushed to hospital,” he added.

Sandeep’s friend, Himanshu,, said that a few Muslim boys stopped Sandeep on road when he was going somewhere and started beating him. Sandeep in an effort to save his life ran but another group of boys waited for him next who thrashed him in his stomach and head leaving him unconscious for two hours. Sandeep could not even speak for next few hours after gaining consciousness, said Himanshu.

Meanwhile, police confirmed of the arrest of three Muslim youths.

“We have lodged a case against three of the accused on the grounds of complaint filed by victim’s father and a case has been registered against them under section 341 and 334, said a police official at Ramganj Mandi Police station saying further investigations are on in case.

This case has again proved how Rajasthan Police under chief minster Ashok Gehlot have been failing continuously in controlling situation on ground.

It needs to be furnished here that BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi took historic decision of scrapping Article 370 in J&K while integrating Jammu and Kashmir with rest of India without any set term or condition. The Modi government split Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories—namely-J&K and Ladakh. While the first will be with legislation, the other UT comes without any legislation.
