Commander of RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Pauduka Seri Aminan Bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud visited India last week and held wide–ranging discussions with the Indian armed forces hierarchy on mutual military cooperation. On arrival, he was accorded a Tri-Services Guard of Honourand received by Chairman Chief of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa at South Block. He also paid homage and laid wreath at National War Memorial. During his visit to Eastern Command (Army), he visited the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School at Variengte, Mizoram, where he was briefed about the training imparted in the school. At Eastern Naval Command too he interacted with senior officials and visited various naval establishments to acquaint himself with their operations. The visit is a positive step towards enhancing the bilateral defence cooperation mechanism between the two countries enhancing defence diplomacy.
