Bengaluru: Veteran Sangh Pracharak Sudarshan ji passed away on May 1 in the afternoon. He was 85. Following respiratory health issues, he was admitted at a private hospital a few days back. Hailing from Ullala, Sudarshan ji served the Karnataka Government as a revenue officer and as Tahsildar. He resigned from the service to dedicate his whole life for the cause of the society by getting in as Pracharak, a full-time worker with the RSS. He served as a Zila Pracharak at Chikkamagaluru and later devoted to serve through the Hindu Seva Prathishtana for a long duration. He was instrumental in driving a correspondence course named ‘Hindu Jeevana Deepika’. He was involved in designing the syllabus for the same. Sudarshan ji had pledged to donate his whole body after death. Hence, the body was donated to a Medical College. A condolence meeting was also organised at Keshav Kripa on May 2, 2019.
