Christian Association And Alliance For Social Action (CASA), is all set to release its short movie ‘Muhammad: The Pocso Criminal’ on the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse is an annual global awareness (November 19). The short film is made with the intention of spreading awareness about rising child abuse cases. ‘Muhammad’ will be the first short film released by CASA in its awareness campaign.
The short movie directed by Derin Vasco is about an incident that had happened in Assam’s Dibrugarh district in 1997. A 6-year-old girl was raped and murdered by Muhammad who was a Bangladeshi national.
The shooting of this short movie will commence from October first week and the movie will be released on various online platforms on November 19, announced CASA through their Facebook page.
