“Congress and Communist Parties should merge to form Comrade Congress Party,” Says PM Modi in Kerala

Launching a fierce attack on both the Congress and Communist Fronts in Kerala, PM Modi asked both of them to merge and form Comrade Communist Party. "The Left and the UDF are twins of misgovernance and corruption. In West Bengal, after each election they get closer. So the logical step for them is a merger and they can name the new party 'CCP' (Comrade Communist Party)," said Modi.   PM Modi addressed two rallies in Kerala yesterday at Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram.   The Prime Minister started his speech with the call ‘Swamiye Saranamayyappa’, a symbolic gesture to unite against the Communist Party-led government which tried to destroy the tradition in the Sabarimala temple. He also attacked the Kerala government for multi-dollar scams which are currently being investigated by the central agencies. "You all have heard of the seven deadly sins. UDF and LDF have committed their own seven deadly sins in Kerala," Modi said at an election rally at Konni (Pathanamthitta) on Friday. "The first sin is pride and arrogance. UDF and LDF feel that they can never be defeated. This has made their leaders very arrogant and disconnected from their roots, while the second sin is their greed for money," he said, referring to the gold, dollar and solar cases, which has tainted the two fronts.   PM Modi spoke about the groupism and infighting within the congress party in Kerala. "They sacrifice our hard working professionals on the altar of politics. In the fight between the Congress (I) and the Congress (A) (the two major factions of the party in Kerala), Nambi Narayanan's (ISRO scientist) career was destroyed (in the ISRO spy scandal case). But it's not like that for us. After Metroman Sreedharan joined the BJP, he has been an inspiration to many professionals in the country who have joined the BJP," said Modi.   "What was the stand of the Indian Union Muslim League on Triple Talaq? What are the social policies of Popular Front of India (PFI) and its political arm Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).Can their regressive politics be supported? No," he questioned. The two fronts were promoting dynasty politics and everything else is a side issue, Modi said.
