Surya launches eco-friendly CFL lamps
Surya Roshni Limited launched PH+ technology CFL lamps, which gives higher lumen and energy saving in CFL lamps. The CFL is eco-friendly green lamp made with Green Technology by using DPT technology. Superior quality fluorescent powder is used to make the lamps, which gives higher lumen output. These lamps also have inbuilt power stabilizer to control a wide range of voltage fluctuation prevailing in many parts of the rural areas. The energy saving lamps last up to five years and gives energy saving of 80 per cent. It means, if the electricity bill is for Rs. 100 per month, with the use of Surya CFL, it will be only Rs 20 per month and the savings will be Rs. 80 per month. Replacement of a normal GLS build with Surya CFL will save the electricity charges up to Rs 500 annually.
Surya sells 15 crore lamps every year. Its products are sold to as much as 15 crore households/families in the country. It has reach even in the remote corners of the country and its products are being sold through its business network of 30 branches and 1,00,000 retailers across the country.
