Reception for Pramilatai Medhe in Delhi

Smt. Pramilatai Medhe, Pramukh Sanchalika of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, was accorded public reception in Delhi recently. She was in Delhi after becoming head of the leading women organisation of the country. Representatives of more than two-dozen organisations of Delhi welcomed Smt. Medhe. Smt. Asha Sharma, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Karyavahika of the Samiti welcomed the new Pramukh Sanchalika in Delhi by applying tilak and Smt. Radha Mehta, Delhi Prant Kayavahika presented her a shawl. Besides the representatives of Sewa Bharati, Indraprastha Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Dharm Jagaran Manch, Sainya Matrishakti, Adhivakta Parishad, Samartha Shiksha Samiti, Bharat Vikas Parishad and Vidya Bharati welcomed her. Shri Ramesh Prakash, Kshetra Karyavah of RSS also welcomed Pramilatai Medhe with flowers. Smt. Pinki Anand, noted Supreme Court lawyer, presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Pramilatai Medhe called upon women to become sensitive and identify their rich values. She said women should not feel demorlised after listening undue criticism from some misguided elements. She said there are forces in the country, which are trying to create misconceptions in our mind. Referring to the killing of children in Nithari, Noida, she said the people and administration have become insensitive because what happened in Nithari has not happened in an over night.  (FOC)
