Delhi sealing opposed
Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) has condemned the inhuman attitude of the authorities of Delhi government as well as the MCD for sealing the small shops, houses, banquet halls and farm houses. It also condemned the anti-people activities of the authorities being carried out in the name of implementing the Supreme Court order. ?It should be remembered that in 1998, LUB had vigorously opposed the demolition of factories and now it will not hesitate to take similar action if this juggernaut of demolition or sealing continues,? LUB said in a statement issued on September 22. It demanded promulgation of the Master Plan 2021 to regularise all constructions whether dwelling houses, shops, factories, banquet halls or farm houses because they provide essential services to the public. ?It all started with a PIL in the Supreme Court by one M.C. Mehta, when 1,37,000 small-scale industrial units of Delhi were ordered to be shut down on account of pollution supposed to be caused by the factories. Ten lakh employees lost their jobs. No body bothered about the large-scale unemployment as a result of the sealing of factories. Not satisfied by destroying the single biggest industrial hub of India, bureaucracy is now after small shopkeepers. This will cause another 25 lakh employees working with the shops to lose their jobs. Even those industrial units that somehow managed to settle down in the relocated areas of Bawana and Narela are witnessing their units getting sealed due to one reason or another,? the statement said.

No majority, no minority, only nationality
?Nationalism has no barriers of caste, community and religion. The concept that Bharat is our motherhood and we all are her proud children forms the basis of nationalism. Therefore, no majority, no minority, only nationality should be our mission. One country, one people, one culture sum up to one nation,? said Shri S. Ramanna, national organising secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad. He was speaking at a joint Ganesh immersion procession. He said minorityism is detrimental to the national health. Calling some sections minorities and wooing them for political gains is proving dangerous for the nation. The nation should never forget that this minority-majority mindset led to the unfortunate partition of the country. We hope this wonderful collective Ganesh immersion event would strengthen the bond of nationalism.
