Yogi Government to Introduce NCERT Syllabus in UP Madarsas
Dr Shakti Kumar Pandey, Lucknow
Yogi government has approved the plan to introduce NCERT syllabus in madrasas for upgrading the quality of education and ensuring employability of Muslims. The UP BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi hails the decision and says that this is an indicator that the state government was working on principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. He said that the cabinet decision to impart education in madrasas in Hindi and English by introducing NCERT syllabus is a revolutionary step. This will expose students to modern education and in turn, help them to get new opportunities.
In fact, there is a growing faith among Muslims for BJP who were earlier threatened in the name of BJP and told that the party would harm them socially and financially. Contrary to the rumours, it is the BJP which is doing everything possible for them and initiated the methods to upgrade teaching system in madarsas. Now the Muslim clerics can't push the students towards the of ignorance in the name of religion.
Yogi government has started a portal of Madrasas Board and made registration mandatory for the institutions, there was a drop of over 2 lakh students. In fact, there were fake names and officials used to syphon off funds in scholarships under fake names. Now Yogi government has introduced computerisation to monitor and control these things and very soon they will soon appoint NCERT trained teachers also. Now there will be a drastic change and rapid improvement in madarsa education where students will be exposed to scientific and modern of education.
