Puratattva
Bhawan inaugurated

‘Puratattva Bhawan’, a building for the archaeologists built by the
Indian Archaeology Society was inaugurated by Shri K.S. Sudarshan,
Sarsanghchalak, RSS recently. On this occasion Minister for Human
Resources Development, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, who was one of the
Chief guests, gave clarion call to around 300 Indian archaeologists
present there, to rise and reiterate without any fear and favour what
they have found from their painstaking researches. He also quoted
Needham who declared that most of the technological and scientific
inventions of the world originated in China, completely ignoring the
claim of India, which gave to the world the knowledge of zero, the
inherent power of atom, the so-called ‘Pythogorean formula’, etc.
Shri Ashok Singal,
Working President, VHP, the another chief guest at the function said
that the contribution of archaeologists like Shri S.P. Gupta are suffice
to prove that a Hindu temple was there in Ayodhya before the Babri
structure was built. At the closing ceremony Shri Sudarshan congratulated
Shri S.P. Gupta for getting a building equipped with modern facilities
constructed for archaeologists. While Dr Joshi released Puratattva,
journal of the Indian Archaeologist Society, Shri Sudarshan launched
a new journal History Today, journal of the Indian History and Culture
Society. Veteran BJP leader Shri K.R. Malkani, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra,
M.P., Padmabhushan Prof. B.B. Lal, Prof. K.S. Lal, Prof. Ajaymitra
Shastri, Prof. V.N. Mishra and a large number of leading archaeologists
were also present.
