demands immediate wage settlement in PSUs From Our Correspondent
While inaugurating the conference, Shri Dave explained at length the economic scenario of the country and the role of BMS to tackle the situation. He also appealed to all delegates to devote more time to the cause of the organisation. During the Business session on the same day, Shri Somesh Biswas, General Secretary, BMS, Assam State placed the report for the past three years which after a lively discussion was unanimously accepted.
On the second day a huge rally was organised showing the strength of BMS. Later, the rally turned into an open session. Open session was addressed by S/Shri Sabyasachi Bhattacharjee, General Secretary, BMS, Cachar, Dr Sudhakar Kulkarni, R.P. Misra and Hashubhai Dave. The open session was presided over by Shri Pradip Kumar Misra. Shri Rajendra Dwibedi, Secretary, BMS, Cachar, proposed a vote of thanks.
