Sahitya Parishad, a cultural organisation of Orissa, dedicated to
develop the Oriya literature all over the State, organised a book
release function at Ramachandra Bhawan, Cuttack, recently. The book
Satyam Bruyat was released by Shri Sarat Kar, Hon'ble Speaker, Orissa
Legislative Assembly. Satyam Bruyat is the compilation of features
and articles written by Shri Arun Kumar Panda in various journals.
In his articles, Shri Panda has exposed the maladministration and
corruption of the various Government departments and has drawn the
true picture of the rural and tribal lives of Orissa. The speakers
at the function appreciated Shri Panda as he has got a special place
in the heart of the readers of Orissa for his lively reporting. Among
other eminents present at the function were Prof. Pathani Patnaik,
President Orissa Sahitya Academy, Shri B.B. Praharaj, MLA, Justice
D.M. Pattnaik, Dr Brajmohan Mohanty, Shri B.K. Dhal, columnist, Shri
Jagabandhu Mishra, Editor, Rashtradeep, Shri A. Samant, Secy, KIIT
and Shri Hare Krishna Choudhury.
