SHRI K.S. Sudarshan, Sarsanghchalak, RSS, has condemned the killing of people in Kashmir including Amarnath pilgrims. In a statement, Shri Sudarshan has said “the gruesome murder of the people has shocked the nation and the heinous act is worth condemnation in strongest words”. Blaming Pakistan for the mayhem, the RSS Sarsanghchalak said : “Pakistan is a diabolical power with no respect for Human Rights. With a single objective of grabbing Kashmir, Pakistan is busy taking sadistic pleasure in killing innocent and peace-loving people of Kashmir, with the active help of mercenaries. Pakistan’s very existence is based on hatred for India.

Its existence is threatened if the hatred vanishes as is desired by peoples of both the countries. Hence, military rulers of Pakistan oppose any Indian effort to promote peace and goodwill in the region. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are fed up with the decade long insurgency in the State which was realised even by the terrorists in the Kashmir valley and they initiated the peace talks. To nip the talks in the bud, Pakistan has carried out the massacre with the help of foreign mercenaries. “It is the foremost duty of the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister to ensure the safety of people a task which he has failed to complete despite all kinds of support from the Centre.

Instead, by getting a resolution passed for restoration of a pre-1953 status in Kashmir, he has aroused the anger of the people of Jammu and Ladakh, while losing his credibility in the eyes of the countrymen. If he wishes the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir, he should relinquish all the power for some time to tackle the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in the State to the Centre, facilitating restoration of peace by wiping out terrorism under the unified command of the Centre,” said Shri Sudarshan. The RSS Sarsanghchalak requested the people to remain calm at this disturbed hour in order to solve the problem and ensure the safety of thousands of pilgrims and people.
